An ayurvedic healthcare center sprawled in the heritage city of Madurai that acts as a built environment enhancing mental and physical healing .Apart from reflecting excellent medical care and ayurvedic techniques, a linear space of 80ft x 25ft had to be designed to make it seem more spacious. An amalgamation of modern and traditional architecture was experimented, using exposed brickwork and ceiling. Since the main core was already built, it had to be rightly interpreted and intervened to tackle issues of lighting and ventilation.
