Modern Indian is what the client would describe their dream home to be. We tried working on the materials, the finishes and textures to conceptualize a design. The most difficult task in this project was to translate a design that the client had envisioned.
A pastel palette was chosen for this house, where elements of Indian tradition were introduced to connect the Modern Indian dots. Maximum usage of windows for the early morning rays to seep in was a conscious decision we had taken as designers. Warm tones, wooden elements, soft fabrics and native floor tiles were used.
