Lin is inspired from the abstraction of the clean lines used in the project. A 3600 sq ft plot in the city of Chennai, needed to be designed as two houses in a single frame. Being located in a remote location safety and security was a major concern, which was tackled by translating the balcony railings as a design element. Since it had a linear elevation, the monotony was cut through by introducing certain elements to exaggerate its skin but also break the mass down by using voids and creating a certain relief.
